This is Part 2 in the series “Upward”.
God has a high or heavenly calling on all of our lives. Don’t settle for a lost and confused life. This message series will not only inspire you but give you practical guidance from God’s Word for your future. This is a message about the Upward, Higher or Heavenly call God has placed on our lives. We often lack purpose, focus and direction because we are limited by our earthly concerns. It’s the ascending heart and dwelling-in-God’s-presence-heart that finds earthly direction and fulfilment.
We sometimes need to make a few minor adjustments to our heart attitude and allow the Word of God and the Holy Spirit entrance into our heart to affect the change.
Earthly hope based on human promises often fails. We all know the pain and even terror of moved goal posts in life. Proverbs 13:2 describes a type of illness the human heart can pick up. when it says, “Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life”.
One thing is sure that every promise God makes will be fulfilled and come to pass.
